Welcome to the PSZ!
The PSZ is here for you if you can answer all of the following questions with „yes“.
- have you fled to Germany, are you waiting for an answer to your asylum application or do you have a „Duldung“ („suspension of your deportation obligation“)? – and
- do you have psychological problems (nightmares, distressing/burdening/unpleasant memories, nervousness or sadness)? – and
- are the reasons for your problems bad experiences in your home country or whilst you were fleeing?
Then give us a call. We speak German and/or English. Or you could write us an e-mail, preferably in your own language!
However please do not come to the PSZ without an appointment.

Together we will find something that will helps you.
• We offer psychotherapy
• You can talk to us about your problems in your native language.
• We work with language mediators if necessary.
• We look for solutions to issues with the immigration authorities.
• Doctors from the PSZ will examine your physical symptoms and help you further.
• Our services are always free of charge for you and your family.
Our aim is for our clients to feel well advised and informed and to be able to make their own decisions.
But:
• We do not prescribe medication.
• We do not have places to stay overnight.
Unfortunately, our places are limited and therefore we cannot offer everyone an appointment.
And:
• If necessary, we can help you find another suitable counselling centre.
